Terms of Service
What a Bodyguard is — and is not.
Last updated September 28, 2026 · Healthcare Bodyguard LLC · Clinical services by Bridge Clinical Care PLLC
These terms govern your use of this site and of Healthcare Bodyguard services. By using this site or engaging our services, you accept them.
What the service is
A Healthcare Bodyguard is a licensed healthcare professional who works only for the client — to observe care, ask questions, escalate concerns through existing channels, and produce a plain-language written record of what was observed. The record is for the client.
What the service is not
- Not medical care. A Bodyguard does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, administer medication, write orders, or take over the duties of physicians, nurses, aides, agencies, or facility staff.
- Not an emergency service. A Bodyguard is not 911 and not an on-call emergency response. If this is an emergency, call 911.
- Not a guarantee. We do not promise medical outcomes, particular findings, insurance decisions, or changes to a hospital's, facility's, or agency's care.
- Not the care provider's employee. The Bodyguard works for you — never the hospital, facility, agency, clinic, or insurer.
The written record
The record is a licensed professional's contemporaneous account of what was observed, written for the client in plain language. It is informational. It is not a medical order, a medical opinion offered in place of your clinicians, or legal advice.
The record is prepared for the client and released on request, after office review. A copy fee may apply.
Scheduling, fees, cancellation
Scope, timing, and price are agreed before any service begins. If a scheduled visit needs to change, contact us as early as you can — details are handled in your service agreement.
Responsibility for care
Care is provided by the hospital, facility, agency, physician, or home staff — not by us. The Bodyguard observes, records, and escalates through the channels that exist. Decisions about care remain with the treating clinicians and the client's authorized decision-makers.
This site
Content on this site is general information about our services. It is not medical advice for any specific situation. The request form and email contact do not create a professional relationship until we confirm one with you.
